Speech: Katherine & Maija at FL Legislature on SB 1288 Parent Bill of Rights Amendment 040125

SB 1288 as amended on 4/1/25 amends the FL Parent Bill of Rights to better protect our kids and our parental rights. On 4/1/25, Katherine spoke in front of the Judiciary Senate Committee to urge them to vote favorably on SB 1288 as amended. Unfortunately, with how many people asked to speak on this bill, time for speakers was cut quite short and Katherine was not able to speak on the 3 specific parts of the bill that protect our rights. Freedom Fighter Maija Hahn also spoke on SB 1288 as amended. The committee voted favorably, and the bill moved to the next committee.

SB 1270 as amended on 4/1/25 amends the FL Patient Bill of Rights to protect us from being denied medical care based on vaccination status. On 4/1/25, Katherine spoke in front of the Health Policy Senate Committee to urge them to vote favorably on SB 1270 as amended. Freedom Fighter Maija Hahn also spoke on SB 1270 as amended. The committee voted favorably, and the bill moved to the next committee.
